The light in the tiny hall across from the garage entry door is on. Garbage disposal is tied up.
6/23/23: Swept dead millipede worms off the front porch. The humidity level has been consistently under 60% inside the residence. I raised the humidistat back up to 55% for now to save energy. Will continue to monitor closely & adjust accordingly.
6/23/23: Poured vinegar down the HVAC condensate tube. Some browning of the front and side yard, reported previously.
6/23/23: Your home was extremely humid when I walked in 65% or higher. So I turn the humidistat down from 60 to 50. I also turn the thermostat from 80 to 78° to give the system cycle enough time to reduce the humidity. There is a large dumpster in your driveway photo below. I did stay long enough to ensure the system is cooling and the humidity was coming down. The pool has quite a bit of debris on the bottom, photo below.
6/23/23: Furniture & boxes have been placed inside the residence since the last service call see photos below. Poured approximately 2ozs of vinegar down the hvac condensate drain line for preventative maintenance.
6/23/23: One of the lanai screens has a small tear in it.
6/23/23: The pool has debris on the top and the bottom. There’s a little browning in the front yard reported previously.
6/23/23: The humidity level was well below 60% inside the residence again when i arrived. I raised the thermostat to 77 for now to save energy. Will continue to monitor closely & adjust accordingly. Put the car keys back inside the storage room & made sure the doors were locked.

Temporary fence has been put around the pool. All storm shutters are closed. The rusted water main handle is broken & needs to be replaced. I was able to turn the water on & off using some pliers for now.
6/23/23: The water main valve to the home does not have a handle so there’s no way to turn the water off. Off is the position I prefer. Since we can’t turn it off I walked the house twice to make sure all faucets, valves and toilets were not running. Browning of the front yard reported previously is about the same. 6/23/23: Drive by. Brought in three pieces of mail see photo below. Will be taking all important mail to the post office for forwarding. Installed a new water timer on the hose spigot by the pool to assist in keeping the pool water level at a correct level see photos below. I ran the hose in the pool while I was at the residence to help offset evaporation. The smoke detector in the guest bedroom hallway was sounding off when I arrived. A neighbor stated that it has been sounding off for several days now. I removed the smoke detector from the ceiling & found that the sealed battery has expired causing the alarm to go off. I disabled the detector with the instructions given on the back to silence it see photos below. A new smoke detector replacement will be required this time.
