5/29/18: The humidity and musty smell concerns me. To mitigate I’ve adjusted the humidistat down to 50% and the thermostat to 77. Cold air is coming from the vents, if this doesn’t work we should get the system looked at.5/29/18: The humidity is even higher this week than last and thermostat was set even higher than last week it’s imperative that the thermostat set at 78° or lower during this time of year in order to keep the humidity under 60% inside the home. When the temperature outside nearly matches The temperature inside then the AC system doesn’t run long enough to pull the humidity out. The humidity feels our after hour until it’s extreme. I’m not even sure if it’s being lowered any at any point during the day or evening. The pool level is at or above the skimmer port top. Pulled an undated pest control song from the front yard. Slider to lanai by the outside kitchen was not latched properly and I was able to pull the door open from outside.
5/29/18: Boat appears to be lower than normal or water higher than usual, see photos below? Turned thermostat down to 77 degrees to help mitigate humidity.
5/29/18: Circuit breaker 28 (great room) was tripped and will not reset.
5/29/18: Pool level is above the skimmer port, see photo. Sprayed a gallon of vinegar solution on weeds.
5/29/18: Pulled Truly Nolan sign from yard dated 5/22/18. Brought in front door mat and a soaked telephone book put them both in the garage to dry out. The humidity within your home is extremely high I believe the settings and the temperature outside are so close that it’s just short cycling and not running frequently enough to pull out. So I set the thermostat to 76. Once the dehumidistat has reached below 55% it will shut off and more than likely never reach 76° in your home however the most important thing is to remove the humidity at this point.
5/29/18: Debris on lanai deck and in the pool, see photo below. Lawn along new seawall torn up, see photo below. Replaced all Damp-Rid bags. Humidity inside home is a bit high but appears AC is working as hard as possible.
5/29/18: Lawn should be cut. Interior hand to garage from home pulls off. Turned thermostat down to 78 degrees from 80 to help mitigate the humidity.
5/28/18: No need to water exterior plants with the rain we have been getting. I found hundreds upon hundreds of dead love bug inside your home. They are everywhere swept up as best I could using your sweeper as you suggested. However I believe they are on top of cabinets behind your entertainment center on top of all your furniture in the cracks and crevice is off everything in your home. I strongly suggest you have a professional cleaning company come in and clean it top to bottom. Leave I believe they’re coming through the one slider in the living room at the top because that’s where the concentration has been the last two inspections.
5/28/18: Ran water through exterior fridge door. Turned the dehumidistat down to 50% from 55% and the thermostat down to 76° from 78° in order to mitigate the high humidity in your home. Swept up a dozen of the small little worms.
5/28/18: Watered 3 trees per written instructions on kitchen counter.
5/28/18: High humidity in house again today (67.9%), turning dehumidistat to the ON position to by-pass for now. I set the thermostat to 77 degrees. Circuit breaker for water heater was off and remains off. I stayed until the humidity had dropped 3.5% to 64.4%.
5/28/18: Lowered thermostat from 79 to 78 to help mitigate high humidity in the home.
5/28/18: Turn the thermostat down 1° to 79° to help mitigate the high humidity within the home. I ran the kitchen sink slowly in order to get some water into the trap without it building up enough. Did not run disposal.
5/28/18: Turn thermostat down 1° to 76° to help mitigate current high humidity in home.
5/28/18: Found several dead inspects under living room pool side window. Swept up, but also found a half a dozen live insects. Appear to be elongated fly like insect, photo below.
5/28/18: Yard needs cut, see photos. Turn the thermostat down to 73° called client to express how high the humidity is inside and how to mitigate he agreed leaving the thermostat at 73. Will come back Wednesday to check.
5/28/18: Pool cage screen repaired.
5/28/18: I set the thermostat to 77° in order to help mitigate some of the higher humidity. Humidity is always higher in the morning as opposed to the afternoons so starting at 77 should be just good enough to bring is around 60.
5/28/18: Down spout sections blown off back by pool see photo. Locked door between garage and home.
5/28/18: The lawn in the fenced area by the pool equipment is twice as long as the rest of the lawn it’s self it really needs to be cut. No evidence of pests in attic entry area. I move the thermostat to 80° from 82° mainly because of the humidity in the home now in all of the humidity we’ve been dealing with over the past several weeks. I just felt safer in that I’m not going to be back for another four weeks that we run it so that we get that humidity down at least around 60% my target is always 55%.
5/26/18: Set both dehumidistats to 55% and brought both thermostats down to 77° To help mitigate humidity. For best circulation of air during the summer the fan should be on auto.
5/25/18: Turn the dehumidistat back 5% and the thermostat down 1° to help mitigate the humidity level in your home. Ran hurricane shutters up/down. One mail item may need attention see photo below. Candles bending a bit, see photo below, put them in fridge.
5/25/18: Ran hurricane shutters up/down. Front door shutter went up but would not come down. Used hand crank to bring down, then about half way down electronically came down. Sun shining and still the convertible was rained on down by the entrance, sorry.
5/25/18: Contractor is working on the house could’ve get into master bedroom or bath
